Thailand, 6th February 2017
I flew out of Bangkok today feeling so thankful to the Lord and His blessed people. For many months we have been working on the Thai translation of my book "The Sword of the Spirit", 7th edition. I came to Thailand four weeks ago with one primary goal: to complete the translation and do an initial quality printing of 500 books. I am happy to report we completed the goal, within time, and better than expected! A number of Thai Christians really helped including: Muay, Waew, Ethan, Rose, Pastor Sommai, Suttiporn, Amorn and others. It was a real team effort. We have printed the book on beautiful, smooth paper, and as Thai Christians meditate the Scriptural promises in the book they will feel good. We will be able to offer the book at a very cost effective price as well, within the reach of almost everybody.
Last night I met with aunty Sumalee who has a ministry to 135 prisons in Thailand. She visits 6-9 prisons each month. We were able to donate 200 books towards the prison libraries in Thailand, two books per prison. She will personally present the books to the caretaker of the library in each prison. This is a great open door to bring the Lord's covenant promises to people in desperate need of answers for life.
In addition to the book ministry, I was able to minister in Friendship Church, Bangkok and also Revive Urdu Church, Bangkok. In the Thai church a young man gave his life to Jesus Christ. It was a blessed time of fellowship with the saints in these churches.
I have scheduled to return to Thailand around the 21st April 2017, with the goal to preach in numerous Thai churches. I plan to teach on the benefits of meditation of the Lord's covenant promses, and make "The Sword of the Spirit" in the Thai language available for God's people. My hope is we will need to do another printing for that time of ministry as we will need more copies of "The Sword of the Spirit" for the Thai churches .
The Lord bless you, and Thailand,
