 Â
Where were you raised as a child?
I was raised in a Christian Methodist family, in the country regions of New South Wales, Australia.
How did you become a Christian?
In June 1983 I wholeheartedly invited the Lord Jesus Christ to come into my life, and be my Lord and Master. This is when I surrendered the leadership of my life to God, and was born again. In 1983 I was also baptized in water at Wilton Baptist Church, England . In the same year I was baptized with the Holy Spirit of God, and received the gift of praying in other tongues (Acts 10:45-46).
IN 1983 YOU STARTED preaching the gospel INTERNATIONALLY. WHERE DID IT ALL BEGIN?
I began preaching within a few months of committing my life to Jesus. In 1983 I began preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ internationally, whilst serving on the youth Christian discipleship training ship the ‘M.V. Logos’, with the mission organization ‘Operation Mobilisation’. I began preaching on the streets in many foreign nations and later in schools, prisons, and churches.
What’s your educational background?
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in theology from Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. I am also a graduate of RHEMA Bible Training Centre, Perth, Western Australia with a two year Diploma in Christian Ministry (affiliated with Kenneth Hagin Ministries Tulsa, Oklahoma).
Are you linked, or accredited with any organizations?
IÂ have been ordained as clergy with RMAI (RHEMA Ministerial Association International). My home church is Sydney Life Church, Sydney, Australia.
Where have you preached the gospel?
I have preached the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in over forty nations of the world including: Australia, the Pacific Islands, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
What interests do you have outside your ministry?
I like to exercise in the gym and the outdoors. I believe we should look after our bodies through: frequent exercise, a healthy diet, adequate rest, and positive thinking. As a kid I played all kinds of sport: squash, tennis, cricket, table tennis, swimming, athletics, body surfing, and various types of football.
I enjoy being outdoors, experiencing the elements of nature through walking in the bush and jungle, and long board surfing when I get the opportunity. I also keep informed concerning international and domestic politics.
With all the travelling you do, do you miss your family?
My family currently includes: my dad and mum, my two elder brothers and their families, uncles, aunties, and cousins. I have lived away from home for most of my adult life and have learnt to enjoy the friends I have around me. I make priority to regularly visit my family , as they are very important people in my life.
What sort of secular work have you done?
I have previously worked in: banking, insurance, real estate, and the marketing industries. On a shorter-term basis, whilst studying, I was employed in: labouring, factory, and warehouse work.
Were you always a committed Christian?
During my adolescent years, between the ages of 14-21, I experienced peer pressure, and the things of this world. Subsequently, I was not walking in the light of God's Word. I had little revelation knowledge of God’s Word, and the enemy was able to influence my life.
What motivates you to go on with ministry?
My passion is to discover and reveal biblical truth. This ministry is a vehicle to reveal truth to others, and assist them in experiencing God's love. I believe those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord are eternally lost. In other words, if they do not become spiritually born again they will spend eternity in the lake of fire, with the Devil. Love for the Lord, and these lost people, motivates me to use my gifts and talents to help save these precious people. We do this through equipping the church to win the lost into God’s eternal kingdom, so we can be all together in heaven.
