How to receive our Inheritance

How to Receive our Inheritance

Know what is…the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19)

We have an inheritance in Christ. This inheritance includes power!

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth (Romans 1:16)

The gospel of Christ is the miracle working power of God unto safety, healing, preservation, eternal life, and prosperity (3 John 2).

God’s power is available to his church. God’s power has been delivered to his church:

His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him (2 Peter 1:3)

Through the knowledge of the Lord (his Word concerning his covenant promises), we can access God’s power to supply all things we need for life and godliness. God has intervened into our human suffering to deliver to humanity supernatural power.

The critical knowledge we need to receive, to access the power of the Lord, is the covenant promises of God:

Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4)

The power has been delivered unto us in seed form! To receive the power we must plant the seed! We must operate according to the laws of the kingdom if we want to experience the power of the kingdom:

So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground (Mark 4:26)

It is the Word of God which contains the wisdom, knowledge, and revelation needed to exercise faith and understanding to access God’s power unto salvation.

Our focus needs to be on planting, protecting, and growing the seeds of the exceeding great and precious promises of God in our heart. These seeds, over time, will produce revelation knowledge of God’s love, and faith, so we can receive God’s goodness and power. The manifestation of the miracle power of the kingdom is very natural when we grow the seeds of his promises.

Miracle power is 100% guaranteed if our heart is good ground to receive the seed. There is no problem with the seed. The seed is incorruptible (1 Peter 1:23) and will prosper and produce (Isaiah 55:11). The problem area is always with our heart (Mark 4:20; Proverbs 4:23). Let us be diligent to cultivate our heart with God’s precious promises and the seed will work. Meditation is the process of cultivating a receptive heart to receive the seed (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1).
